10:30 Lost in Amazonia Tour
Visitors to Sea Life now have the opportunity to explore Amazonia fully, encountering creatures such as piranhas and poison dart frogs to freshwater stingrays and a host of tropical fish, all set within the lush setting of the Amazon rainforest. Our guide will take you round the attraction highlighting the threats facing the Amazon from deforestation, pollution and other problems.
11:30 Turtle Talk & Feed
Enjoy a fascinating talk in our auditorium which houses our largest and most famous residents our giant sea turtle Lulu and our loggerhead turtle Jersey. Learn about their individual histories and the conservation issues affecting their species around the world. Learn about the other fish that share the ocean tank with them including black tip reef sharks and how they differ from other fish.
(Turtle Talk & Feed also takes place at 14:30pm)
12:30 Ray Feed
Enjoy this fascinating talk which will help you to identify the different types of rays, as well as the other locally found species including dogfish, mackerel an bream. Learn about our ray breeding programme from ray eggs to our juvenile ray tank and also get the chance to take part in the feed itself.
13:30 Tropical Reef Talk and Feed
This talk will give you a description of the 30+ species we have in our Ocean tank. Learn about Bat Fish and Venomous foxface to name but a few and you may even be lucky enough to see our wrasse cleaning our giant sea turtles and shark!
15:30 Lagoon Feed
Our sea bass and bream which can be found not only in the Mediterranean but also in British waters are fed at this time of day. But watch out these lot are fiesty so you might get splashed!
16:30 Shark Talk and/or Feed
Learn about the most misunderstood predator in the ocean while our staff feed our four different breeds of sharks: Black tips, Brown's, Nurse and Zebra sharks.
Please note feeding takes place on a tuesday,thursday and saturday
