New 2010:  The sea turtle – an endangered giant!

Since March 2010 SEA LIFE Speyer has a new rare and exotic resident: Marty, the first tropical sea turtle to be exhibited in the south-west of Germany has moved into his new home, the

320,000 litre tropical shark lagoon.

With a shell length of 80 cm and weighing in at more than 60 kg, Marty is a real giant! But with an age of 8 years he is still considered a baby. Observe him navigating his way through the plentiful and colorful fish swarms in the tropical ocean tank.
